
Amaltas Ayurvedic College organized a grand celebration of Maharshi Charak Jayanti,observed on the Panchami of Shukla Paksha in the holy month of Shravan, marking the birth anniversary of the great sage Maharshi Charak. On this occasion, the college physicians performed pooja, rituals, and offered prayers to Lord Dhanvantari. The program was presided over by Dr. Anita Ghodke, Principal of Amaltas Ayurvedic College. Dr. Hemant Chauhan, Medical Superintendent of the college, attended as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Neelam Khan, Principal of Amaltas Pharmacy Institute, was present as the Special Guest. All guests were warmly welcomed by Dr. Rajendra Khedekar and Dr. Rahul Sadiwal. The traditional lamp-lighting and garlanding ceremony were carried out by Dr. Anita Ghodke and Dr. Neelam Khan. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Neelam Khan praised the grandeur and organization of the event. Dr. Khushali delivered a special lecture highlighting Maharshi Charak’s research and contributions to Ayurveda. Dr. Manish Chauhan discussed the global acceptance of Maharshi Charak’s definition of health, while Dr. Aishwarya Vijayvargiya shared insights on the international recognition of principles and techniques established by Maharshi Charak and Acharya Sushruta. The program was skillfully anchored by Dr. Nisha Pancholi, whose excellent hosting made the event a success. This celebration at Amaltas Ayurvedic College reflects deep respect and reverence for Maharshi Charak, paying tribute to his invaluable contributions to the field of Ayurveda.
